The Flush Fixedlight is a development of Lewmar Standard Fixedlight. The objective was to minimise the number of textures, angles and levels in order to minimise the visual impact of the Fixedlight on the boat.
In the Flush Fixedlight the acrylic has been moved as far forward as possible to make it approximately flush with the mounting surface. The outer frame as been made as flat as possible and the angled face of the Standard Fixedlight as been removed. This has increased the quantity of alloy in the frame.
The outer frame is powder coat black in colour to camouflage to the acrylic lens; this is more costly than the anodising that is normally used.
Note: maximum hull thickness is 11mm
